Trying to figure out what Jay looks like in the present day, with his solo career taking off. Also experimenting with some new brushes.

A while ago I found some old scribbles I'd entirely forgotten about. I enjoy playing Rimworld, and had a colony once with a brave arctic vixen who lost her tail in battle and got a new bionic one.
And since it's been snowing here all day, it's extra fitting - so, here's Nova the snow fox.

This is what my early (colour) sketches look like. I usually don't share them, but I liked this one and cleaned it up a bit.

Here are some of mine: Val, Jay and Alex. Early in their story, they are all part of a band. Then Things happen; one of them becomes a vampire, another one a rock star, and there are also ferrets and a dog.

So last week I learned of the existence of society finches. They were in an aviary together with a bunch of zebra finches and the sweetest little things. Soft chirps, and one was gently trying to get a lone buddy of theirs to socialize with them. <3

Yay facetrain! Now that's one totally up my alley.
