Something wonderful about being in France over this holiday weekend

That's so interesting because it reminded me of a design, on a vase, I bought in France. I've never understood what it meant, but now I'll call it my magic vessel 😁

Germans saw the similarities with Trump, from the beginning. They LIVED it. You can recognize the behavior which you're familiar! The unfortunate truth is, they know it but don't want to be "caught." They want these things to happen. They voted for it. They take glee in hate and hurting others.

Why visit the dentist, when you have teeth?

I'm not into celebrating or observing the holiday. But it sure is fun to decorate with nearly all thrift store finds. I painted the bird planter (used to be allowed gray).

This is the first time these daffodils have bloomed (planted bulbs fall 2024). Never had one with white petals and an orange trumpet. Also in the background are yellow tulips that were there when we bought our house. But they've multiplied.

We planted these hyacinth and daffodils last fall. It seems they've all grown. I expect there will be more next year, as they multiply

Our magnolia!

Has anyone noticed, the larger and impossible to ignore flag waving people, who call themselves "patriots" and "proud", are the most disgruntled people towards their own countrymen? The most hateful of their own country, unless others look like, walk and talk like trashy Caucasians? Dichotomy, eh?

Our white and grape hyacinths are so beautiful in bloom.

Our Magnolia is just beginning to open its blossoms. It's been a pretty cold winter here in SW Germany.

We installed our solar panels last November. It's not a huge savings yet, but it's something. I'm currently running the dishwasher and washer, essentially free. 😄 German electricity is expensive!

We've been having continued cold weather and frost. But the bulbs I planted last fall are coming up (looks like all succeeded) and the Lungwort (Lungenkraut) is in bloom!

Train from Italy to Germany, clips from the Italian and Austrian Alps. So much produce is grown in these valleys.

How my mind works? We're at the train station, waiting for our train home, from Italy to Germany. Daniel was in front of me, chatting. The "Tr" was hidden by his head. I thought, no, that can't start with a G, can it!?

Greetings from Dante Plaza in Trento. I didn't time the image for the sun to make a halo 😆

No pictures can capture the grandeur of Buonconsiglio Castle. I have loads of pics.

A full set menu dinner, including dessert and coffee, bottomless mineral water and red wine was 38€ per person that included the tip. Excellent but the presentation could use some improvement. I forgot to take a picture of the dessert!

Out and about Trento old town, inner city. Buildings are spectacular but it's otherwise boring (and tragic) because of multinational chain stores.
