Still wondering:
What is your process of keeping up with new literature and reading widely? (while not drowning in the FOMO).

Information overload and FOMO for academics:
What are your personal rules to manage both those phenomena?
How do you balance the need to focus on your topics AND read widely?
What are the boundaries of your 'widely'?
Some thoughts would be appreciated.

Writing retreats question:
If you've been to writing retreats, what would be your best tips for someone who goes for the first time?
(mainly in terms of choosing a suitable topic to tackle... but anything else that springs to mind)

How often do you read outside of your immediate field or project? Do you have a system to make sure you keep up with the literature? Do you to go back to the PDFs that you saved a year ago under 'to read'? When? 📖

If you wanted to get student feedback on your modules apart from the traditional university surveys, what questions would you ask?

Recently read a book about the writing life of fiction writers. Some lessons to learn about writing, and mainly an encouragement that everyone struggles with it sometimes, and we're not alone, regardless of style or focus.
