I mean to be fair it really is fine cause that‘s just what language is and what language does and linguistic variation is a thing yadayadayada, but with this one, on a personal emotional level, I‘m just like „NO, I refuse to accept this“ 🙅🏻‍♀️

I did go down a little rabbit hole and it does seem like not everybody does in fact say „dash-unt“ but I‘ve definitely heard people say it😭
