Whatever else emerges in time about the Delta crash in Canada, one thing is certain: the importance & amazing professionalism of flight attendants who safely evacuated the plane in a matter of seconds.

Unlikely to be a mechanical issue. This was most likely a hard landing in crosswind causing one wing to hit the ground and shear off. Remaining wing continues to lift and flip the plane over. Nothing to do with the FAA.
