You don't rep my part of the state (MN01) but keep standing up to these ass-hats and make us all proud!

What a day to have an unexpected day off of work!

Every trans person saw this (or some variant) coming from a thousand miles away. Too bad no one listened despite all the excellent writing done warning them.

How ghoulish. Artists deserve to get paid just as us Software Engineers do (although I acknowledge the irony of that statement today).

Those are some sausage-y fingers!

My experiences using my forced copilot license for work is that it takes longer and more effort to get the GenAI to produce what I need it to than to just write it myself.

But on the flip side, I had to wear noise cancelling headphones once any crying started. Still though, I think we got the better deal here.

Ugh, that is the worst and It really is like clockwork, isn't it? It is 2:00 PM for me and the best I can do to fight it is a preemptive Lunch Nap™️.

How are you so good at this game!? Every time I try for an achievement I get curb stomped.

Targeting the trans allies will dissuade them from being allies or at minimum make them less accessible and unable/unwilling to render aid, thus isolating the trans community more each day. Like predators isolating the vulnerable from a herd, they want us dead with no one to witness or care.

I can feel the neck pain and eye strain already!

Amazing! All I do on my Supernote is take work notes. I wish I had a fraction of that artistic talent.

Because the Blood Test Lady stole money from rich people and made them look silly. These bros are just enabling the deaths and exploitation of the most vulnerable in society...hardly the same level of evil (/s hopefully obviously)

It may as well be. The list literally says we shouldn't be saying just grammatically accurate words like "unhoused" or use descriptive acronyms like LGBTQIA+. I'm sure they would prefer something like "ancestry preferences" over racism. Don't want to make the centrists feel judged, after all.

...and nothing of value was lost.

1) I can already do that if I am so desperate to attend a work meeting while traveling with Android Auto.

2) We truly live in a corporate hellscape where managers being able to "manage" a worker's every waking minute is the measure of business acumen.

Not a game dev, but an API dev. After one of my first major releases as a newbie, something I tested heavily in non-prod blew up when put to the stress of the real world. It was a good lesson in "anything can happen in production" and took a whole weekend of work for me to get a viable fix.

I have no idea why the Algorithm showed me this Bouncy Baby Deer but we had one in the yard too this year!

I literally have done all of these... granted I didn't get my diagnosis until later in life after the "kid" stage was over.

Well, it is up to the task in the sense that it still works...but banking and insurance only use it because it's what their industry was founded on decades ago.

I work in healthcare tech and a lot of systems are "stuck" on these old technologies because it's so regulated that it's hard to update.

In my experience, It is easy for very linear programs but once you start doing anything even remotely complex it spirals into millions of lines of spaghetti code. It was meant for the early days of business software so an exec can understand it and not up to task for modern needs.
