Yes, it was a lovely thing - my parents nurtured a love of wildlife in us but I'd grown away from it. She doesn't draw or anything (yet) though she has a camera. She's more of a record keeper, drawing up lists & monitoring what we see. Which means we make a good team, covering more bases.

She's nearly 15 now but she's been my chief spotter for years - she reawakened my interest in wildlife watching a few years ago when she developed her own interest. It's waned a bit with her teenage years - but still nurturing it where we can! I'm sure she'll come back to it when she's older...
