Totally agree with this. Flying a person to a third country that they may never have been to, directly into a prison where they are going to be forced to do hard labor, is not a deportation; it's something else entirely.
@washingtonpost.com They were not DEPORTED. Deported means sending them back to their country of origin. These people were sent to a maximum security prison in El Salvador, without any due process or any analysis as to whether they feared harm in El Salvador!
In America, EVERYONE has a RIGHT to due process - regardless of immigration status. It’s fundamental to our Constitution.
Deporting hundreds of people in secret by invoking a wartime proclamation is a blatant abuse of power by President Trump.

People need to realize the ripple affect of all these firings. No money for mortgages, food, furniture, household supplies, clothing, medicines, etc. Just like the real estate meltdown in 2008. We are headed towards a recession.

Donald Trump isn’t the peak of evil - he’s just a preview. As long as power is bought, as long as the system feeds on control, worse will come. Fascism & Oligarchy are not defeated by voting out one leader. It’s embedded, waiting, evolving. Evil isn’t in one leader, it’s in what enables that leader.

Last Friday I called the Social Security helpline and the voice said I would be on hold for approximately 120 minutes. Since it was 12:30 I put my phone on speaker and played games on my iPad. Finally at 4:30 I realized I was still on hold and the office closed at 4:00 I hung up.
