This is Labour’s poll tax. Its tuition fees. It is - as Iraq was for Blair - the moral stain that will mark Starmer’s government and the party for years to come. Severely disabled people are going to be starved, isolated and degraded. No Labour MP who backs this will be forgiven.

X, Facebook, Instagram get pay-off for supporting Trump, paid by welfare cuts in the UK.

If it weren't for Brexit, Rachel Reeves would have another £50 billion in her purse; plenty enough to boost the NHS, welfare, and infrastructure, and allow for some tax cuts. What a happier and more optimistic Britain that would be.

That's the price of the delusional idiocy of Brexit.

This starter pack is growing!
We are on dangerous waters: pandemic, the rise of fascism, social inequality, corporate takeover, racism, fascism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, environmental devastation, genocide, war, etc.
Social justice is our only hope, and we want and need real change.

Today is #LongCovidAwarenessDay over 3.1 million are suffering in the UK. Why do Labour not mention this, the real cause of high sickness absence levels? Why does neither Phillipson or Reeves talk about this? Disabled people are taking the blame for mishandling of IPC. #covidisairborne

📢 The UK government is talking about making HUGE cuts to disabled people’s social security.

Disabled people are already three times more likely to face hunger, and these cuts risk pushing even more people to food banks.

All Labour MPs have reportedly been called in to Downing Street for talks with Starmer about the expected disability benefits cuts.

If you have a Labour MP, this is the time to email them. Tell them your objections. Tell them your experience.

Such a loss💔
We are shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden death of @tigresseleanor.bsky.social, who has been so instrumental in helping us keep accurate numbers of covid deaths in the public domain. We have relied on Eleanor's diligent, generous work every week for updates. Our deepest condolences. ❤️

carrying items
bending to use the oven
So when I carry something heavy & inevitably drop it as my wrist dislocates or I bend over to put something in the oven and my hips sublux that isnt a problem

“When you’re raped there is shame, and it’s not for us to have shame, it’s for them. It’s true that I hear lots of women, and men, who say you’re very brave. I say it’s not bravery, it’s a will and determination to change society”
