It looks good though, and hopefully will function fine. I know it's poor consolation when you're just done with an annoying piece :-(. But hopefully it'll rain, a lot, soon, and you'll get to appreciate it a bit more.

Bra sliders are great for rtw, and/or for elastic straps that'll weaken with time. But for woven straps that are only going to be worn by you, I'd skip them entirely

A good while ago I figured out that one garment a month kept me comfortably well dressed on a general level. Yes, I need more when I change continents/climates. And when I get an appreciative girlfriend to sew for. But still, 20 a month borders on obscenity

Lots of people like to throw expensive tools and materials at their hobby. That doesn't mean you are obligated to do it too. Sewing your own is often more expensive than fast fashion, but it's a lot less so than long-lasting good quality, which is often unavailable altogether.
