Chili, a gray and white cat with permanent baby face, lays on his back on a rug. His fluffy tummy is exposed, looking irresistibly soft and pettable. Noodle, a handsome mackerel tabby cat, dozes comfortable on a fleet cat bed. He is circled into a roll, his toes nearly meeting his nose.

Last week was deeply challenging, and the next few weeks are still looking very bumpy, but I am making time to nourish my heart with good ole home cooking
A delicious home-cooked meal including red rice with carrots, black beans, avocado topped with crema, a fried egg with roasted salsa verde, sliced jicama and cucumber, and a few roasted corn tortillas.

I just miss my cats 😭 Friday can't come soom enough
Noodle, a handsome mackerel tabby cat, stretches and yawns as he emerges from his cozy "sack bed," a cat bed resembling a sleeping bag. Chili, a gray and white cat with a distinct facial mask marking, rests comfortably under a fuzzy blanket. He looks sleepy and content.
