The original marathon trilogy in a way had very interesting questions about creation and what it means to be human following the trend of 1900's sci-fi novels. Over all a very thoughtful game that stuck with you. The new marathon just wants you to conform to corporate hell and ask no questions.

Liberalism is fascism's biggest ally. They're not opposition parties because liberalism by default tries to be centrist, and centrism always gives way to fascistic ideals. A true opposition party to fascism would have to be actually leftist.

As someone with crippling ADHD who's waiting on a seemingly unending waiting list to get diagnosed I feel you so much. Seeing things you were once really into/passionate about slowly become unengaging to the point you can't focus on it anymore even if you try is honestly despair inducing.
