It's worked many times in other countries. Are you suggesting we just let this all happen without resisting it? I am ready to do what needs to be done.

I also see that parenting is different now too. I was raised to think critically, do the right thing, learn life skills etc. Today's kids are raised to be happy. I see many young kids without grit to get through life. It is all just so sad and scary.

Probably true, I also think a lot of people have just stopped paying attention. It has been a daily punch since 1/20. It is frustrating to feel alone in the sense of urgency, I can't really find too many people who feel it like I do. Same with Climate change.

I am a teacher and I do believe that my countries lack of investment in education has a lot to do with where we are. We have a large population of undereducated people here, and finding the truth has become difficult, especially when you lack critical thinking skills.

We need to coalesce around a cohesive message. No Kings is too limited and doesn't address what is actually happening. The assult is on our constition by our elected and appointed representatives. It is the very fabric of what we think we are.

The times have changed since the 60's when people did protest and stay until they got what they wanted, the Vietnam war draft for example. It's like the tech people make too much money to care and the rest are too poor to care. Unfortunately, I think we are doomed and waited too long to take action.

As a US citizen, I agree with you. I am very confused about why we aren't in the streets shutting it all down as well. However, I am a person who has a retirement account, two income family and no debt. I am in a position to take to the steets and stay there, but those around me are not.

We do need to organize and shut the country down. I am afraid that is all we have left.
