Today I co-sponsored a backbench debate in Parliament on support for dyslexic pupils in schools.

I called on the Government to reform the teacher training curriculum, standardise dyslexia identification and interventions across schools, and prioritise early identification.

Today we paused to remember all those who have died in service of our country and show our appreciation for all our brave service personnel who continue to make sacrifices for our country.

I recently met with the National Pharmacy Association as part of #AskYourPharmacistWeek!

It was great to talk to community pharmacists and hear more about the vital NHS services they provide every day.

Great to catch up with Armed Forces Minister, Al Carns to discuss the launch of the new Defence Housing Strategy - the biggest renewal of Armed Forces family housing in more than half a century, including upgrades to 180 military homes in Broxtowe.

Today I asked Treasury Ministers how Labour will help small businesses in Broxtowe through business rate reform.

I had the honour of planting a cross in the House of Commons Garden of Remembrance for all the people from Jamaica who who made the ultimate sacrifice, alongside the Deputy High Commissioner for Jamaica, Cyeth Denton-Watts.

I am so pleased to announce that Sure Start-style services will be coming back to Nottinghamshire.

The Government is investing £257,212 into Nottinghamshire with the explicit instruction to create a physical Best Start Family Hub by April 2026.
