In the eeuu I often see efforts to share knowledge with adults being disintegrated by insisting on only sharing knowledge with children. The board of trustees at my former institution have prevented trust in science this way for years.

we avoid drinks (etc) in single use plastic because they add up, and data as well as direct evidence show there is a plastic crisis affecting the whole biosphere. Any scientist should know better… ;)
