The other thing I did -- maybe the most effective -- was that instead of trying to not smoke, I told myself I could absolutely have a cigarette. Just... not now. In 10 minutes, maybe. I rode out the nic fits that way until they stopped coming. That was 2001. You can do it!!

If the Alan Carr book isn't for you -- it wasn't for me -- I found this a long time ago and it worked for me. The author is an addiction specialist who used to work with the Mayo Clinic. I'm *not* a workbook type, but the first couple of exercises were so helpful they did the trick.

Hey sport, I'm a non-Racing fan and I don't hate Vlatko and I absolutely support Bev Yanez for coach of the year.
It's not because I'm a contrarian and I already know I'm smart. It's because Vlatko started six feet from the finish line* and Bev damn near beat him anyway.
