Remember when Obama's army invaded Texas and instituted concentration camps in Walmart in order to disarm Americans? Maybe those who successfully fought off the Obama's takeover can help protect Chicago and Portland from a new hostile presidential administration. #jadehelm #portland #chicago

"Infection elimination" is defined as the disappearance of transmission in a defined area. To me, an ID epidemiologist, this epicurve of US cases from CDC looks more like continuous measles transmission than elimination. #idsky #vaccines #publichealth #episky

The Trump Action Tracker is a website designed by a British group that is cataloging all of the administration's actions, statements, and plans. It is a depressing but important read. Check it out at trumpactiontracker.info

We desperately need better surveillance for firearms incidents. A paper outlining features of pediatric gun injuries in NYC shows <50% capture of ER cases by the NYPD. Most kids were unintended victims near public housing #publichealth #endgunviolence #pediatrics @nyumedpostdocs.bsky.social

Attention!. Measles is not gone. Cases are rising again in Arizona, Utah and Georgia. In 2025, only 9 states have reported no cases compared to 20 last year and the year's not over. 12% of the >1500 cases have been hospitalized with 3 deaths. bit.ly/4mS3Jxf #vaccinate #publichealth

This does include the under-5s. The shaded areas mentioned are in the pie charts, not the graphs, and indicate that the great majority of deaths are in the under-5 age group. I can see why it would be confusing. Here are the original paper and graph. www.thelancet.com/pdfs/journal...

The “Nietzsche” was added to give the quote authority and weight. If the quote had been attributed to Squidly McSquidface, people might agree with it, but they wouldn’t repost it. The fake attribution is meant to manipulate the reader. The quote goes from being truth to being propaganda.
