a little personal, but wrote some poetry this morning and kind of want to just let my guard down and post more stuff lately (cw: grief)
A poem written in a notes app: imagine grief is a great lake within you imagine a cycle where warm rays of joy make the surface shimmer and occlude it's depth and as grief evaporates on sunny days billowing clouds build into dark towers and release I only wanted to wash my dishes before company arrived but my mother is an iceberg
