Julie Morgan MS - fighting for equality and fairness in Wales
Today is the International Day of Human Fraternity.

It’s a chance to reflect on the importance of respect, understanding and solidarity between people of all backgrounds and to say no to hate.

At a time of growing division, our shared humanity matters far more than what divides us.

The first Bwndeli Babi have been sent to midwives today! A new chapter for parents in Wales. Huge credit to Minister Dawn Bowden for delivering it.

The support it will provide to new parents will be invaluable in those first months. A brilliant step forward.

Last month marked 10 years of opt-out organ donation in Wales. The Believe Memorial Garden for Organ Donors at Thornhill Crematorium & Cemetery in Cardiff is a space for reflection and remembrance. Many thanks to Anna-Louise and the Garden Ambassadors for creating something truly meaningful. 💚

Over 20% of people in Wales are disabled, yet this is not reflected in our Senedd or local government. That gap matters.

I proudly support the Access to Politics Charter to make our Senedd and local government more accessible, inclusive, and truly representative. It was great to attend its launch!

Great to visit the Whitchurch Community Garden with Shav last week 🌱

Founded over a decade ago, it’s thrived thanks to local volunteers—a real community space to meet and enjoy nature.

Shav was inspired, and I know she’ll be a strong champion for green spaces in Cardiff North.
