Before his injury, he wasn't playing on the first PP. So I don't think he'll get back on it when he comes back. I have no clue what's going to happen with him.

At this point I just don't know where Laine fits in the team. I guess I just see it as a deal with it when it happens. Cross the bridge when you get to the river kind of thing for me.

No one wanted him of waivers because his contract is at 2.1 million for 2 seasons. At minimum wage, he becomes more interesting for other teams.

The way I see it, Habs paid a lot but for young guys who were supposed to be part of the rebuild.

Same price for old guys would be very frustrating.

Also, as long as they took chances on Dach and Newhook, they could have taken a chance on Dubois.

I think the Dobson trade was a good one for both teams. It did hurt to see Heineman go.

Wasn't a fan of the Newhook trade but he was playing well before his injury.

For Dach, really like him when he's healthy. Would love to see him with Suzuki and Caufield when he comes back.

I would start by changing the goalie coach. Both guys show the same weaknesses… not normal.
