Britain is seeing mumps, whooping cough in the US, measles in eastern Canada.
Unfortunately, the human psyche seems bent on blaming all the things they trusted after an event they can't believe wasn't controlled by another human. I guess believing it wasn't controlled is too scary for many.

if nothing else, teach your students the difference between the information/ misinformation and inhuman/inhumane stances that AI provides.
They are using it, whether you want to teach it or not. Give them a fighting chance at identifying the disconnects to reality.
