Happy New Year Susan!🎉 Your mantle looks very elegant!👏 Time to put up the Valentine's Day decorations💘, and get ready to watch the winter Olympics in Milano Cortina.⛸ (Anything to distract from this insane world)!🙂

Pretty protea! When I see these, I think of Hawaii. Seeing protea during the holiday season reminds me of that cute song, 'Mele Kalikimaka.' So this is seasonally perfect Susan! Also, on the east coast, the real feel temp it 20 degrees, so nobody I know is playing in the snow.🙂 🌺🎄

The whole thing looks amazing!👏 So cozy. Those wall posts were meant to have a fireplace in between them! Not necessary, but you can always watercolor some flames on paper and stick them on top of the black.🔥😄 It looks perfect the way it is though! l love the stars.🌟🎄🎅

Your Santa dish towel looks great! Dish towels,(and mugs),are the things we can never have too many of;😉 & they instantly transform any room into the mood or holiday you want, while being useful. Maybe we need them for all of the holidays in the future, ie.with your Valentine & Turkey watercolors❣🦃

My 'fall haul' from your shop! I love it all! 🧡🍁🙂

I hung the spookey, pumpkin tea towel from your shop on a door knob, and I love it! I love using your fall notepads everyday. It was a quiet, cozy, Halloween for me. I finally read your October Willard, which was wonderful, so now I'm caught up on the plans. Thank you!

Happy Halloween Susan!🎃 Do you get Trick or Treaters at your house? I can't officially comment on the tea towel until November 1st.👻🙂

So pretty! It looks like a Pansy in reverse, with the dark purple on the outside of the petals instead of in the center.🌸

Beautiful color! Clearly it's an English sheep head!🍓🐑😀

TV showed crowds in the 1000's, all the streets blocked off for security, & it's 80+ degrees today, (a freak N.E. weather day), so you had a more authentic, (& comfortable) experience when you attended the re-enactment. Thankfully we are now able to be a part of these events virtually.🙂🌸

Tomorrow is the 250th Anniversary of the "Shot heard 'round the world," just like your cup! It will be shown live on the local news channels, but I know you saw it in person. Very crowded weekend with the Marathon on Monday & more 250th events. You & Joe have done a beautiful job on the gardens.💐

Hi Susan! I just watched the live stream of the 250th Anniversary of the Lantern Lighting (service) at the Old North Church in Boston, & I thought of you! Also, tonight is the 250th of Paul Revere's Ride, & re-enactment of it. The lanterns were lit!🕯🕯(2 by sea)🙂 Your gardens look beautiful! -Julie👏🌷

If Jack were a painting, he'd be a Picasso, (unless Jack is too symmetrical, hmm).🙂 I always think it's so perfect that you have an artistic looking cat. Happy Valentine's Day eve!❣ I'm just trying to maintain what little normalcy is left in our lives by celebrating holidays the best I can🤪😍💕

Hi Susan, I just love seeing these orange trees! I love oranges especially in the winter. When I was a kid, our neighbor went to FL for winters, & sent us a box of oranges. I was fascinated that while we had 1 foot of snow, oranges were growing in another state!🍊🧡🙂

Susan,I've been watching the horrible fire news. So sorry for everybody affected. I went to a wedding there. I was lucky enough to see it as it used to be. I was so worried about you & Joe safely making your train connection, so I'm relieved you made it. Let us know when you are home safe. 🙏💕

Yummy, what did you have? Hope you are both snug in your compartment now. Goodnight Susan.🚂😴👑

I was zooming in on the food to see what you were snacking on when I noticed the dog in the foreground! All white so he blended in with the furniture.😂 A cozy gathering.🎄 I always loved that red deer quilt on the back of the couch. Maybe take that back west as a nice memory,if you can fit it in?🦌🌹

I forgot to say it until I saw this!🐇🐇Normally I have your mug out, so I don't forget to say it, but news events distracted me today, so just in time. We must never lose the magic! 🎉🙂

Happy New Year Susan!🥂 Thank you for the lovely Willard, a bright burst of cheer just when I needed it.🎉 I also laughed at the 'scurvy' comment. In fact, I think of that now every time I have my orange juice, & I smile!🍊🙂 You said you are leaving Sunday, so that means you are already on the train?💖

It looks beautiful!👏 So happy to see one more Christmas in your M.V. house.🎄 I was thinking that this freezing 🥶 weather we are having is a great reminder about why you chose your west coast home. A New England holiday, then back to warm CA.🌞🌹Very wise.🙂

Made me laugh! You are both literally making spirits bright.👏 (I hope your Christmas tree stand is still on this coast).😉🎄🎅🤶
