I’m heartbroken that my dear friend and colleague Hayley has passed away.

Her kindness and generosity touched everyone who knew her.

She is so deeply missed.

Rest in peace Hayley. ❤️

Today is #WorldParkinsonsDay, a day to raise awareness, show support and stand with those affected by Parkinson’s.

I recently meet with Parkinson’s UK Cymru, Choirs For Good and people who live with Parkinson’s and heard about their experiences.

Until we find a cure, there’s @parkinsons.org.uk

It’s polling today in #Torfaen and we’ve been busy getting out the vote - lots of positive conversations with constituents and lots of support of our brilliant local @WelshLabour candidate, Toniann Phillips! #LabourDoorstep

Great to have a chat with local constituents in Swansea Market with First Minister Eluned Morgan. Took the chance to stock up on Welshcakes while we were there!

Fantastic to meet with @prifweinidog.gov.wales Eluned Morgan, Rob Stewart and others from Swansea Council at Mayhill Community Centre to talk about the £1.5m secured in the draft 2025/26 budget for warm places as well as the £1.7m additional funding for tackling food poverty announced in December.

EMA changes lives. It allows young people to focus on their studies without the stress of financial hardship. In Swansea West, I’ve seen its impact—helping students thrive and aim higher. Welsh Labour is committed to ensuring every young person gets the chance they deserve

Wonderful to welcome my colleague & friend, Jane Hutt, Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice, to Swansea today. We heard about the fantastic work of the Swansea Solution Focused Schools project, led by SCVS, who were successfully awarded £20k by Welsh Government to develop school poverty action plans

Great to speak at the launch of the delivering net zero project.
With Tai ar y Cyd, a collaboration of experts working towards standardised net zero housing, we are paving the way to sustainable, affordable homes which lower energy demands & heating costs to help residents within and all of Wales.

I visited the absolutely fantastic Green Hwb last week at Gower College Swansea- I thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many engaged young people making a big difference to biodiversity, local food growing and access to nature as well as seeing how important the site is to local communities!
