As if I needed more reasons to admire and love Bishop Mariane Edgar Budde..
The house below survived the LA fires. Why?
No eaves. Fire can get up into the vents and catch the roof on fire.
Fire resistant roofing & siding. Use metal roofs
fire resistant siding. Vinyl siding and wood signing can burn readily.
Limited vegetation & concrete apron around the house.
