The Ontario government is investing between $525 million and $675 million in the Therme spa at Ontario Place, with the total cost of the redevelopment project rising to over $2.2 billion. While the private company Therme is spending $700 million to construct its facilities and parkland, the government's public contribution is much higher and includes significant infrastructure costs like parking.

If you’ve ever travelled around Ontario you know how spectacular and precious our untouched land is in this province. Doug Ford doesn’t see that, he doesn’t feel that. It’s something to be sold and destroyed, not protected. He hates nature and the environment, and he’s saying it right in our faces.
Bill 5 in Ontario is a bill that was rammed through by the Ford Conservative government, shutting down debates, and ignoring First Nations leaders. At the centre of the bill: So-called “Special Economic Zones” - no-law zones where the Ford government has unchecked power to destroy the environment wherever and whenever it wants.

Felt good to delete my acct at the old place. It's toxicity became overwhelming and felt unsafe .. how awful.
Wasn't sure if I'd post my art here, but I do love to share.
This is one of my favourite paintings, It's called 'Colliding Lives'. Grateful for the muse that inspired it, an artists dream.
