I live in Columbia, SC, but I am a vendor at a conference this weekend in Portland. I couldn’t make it for the entire march, but I skipped out of the conference for a few hours to protest. The people of Portland are awesome!

I have a very cool opportunity that I am so excited about. I will be in Portland, OR for a conference this weekend, so I am going to skip out of the conference for a few hours and attend the rally.

I had a wonderful opportunity yesterday to sit in the Old North Church yesterday and listen to a reading of the Declaration of Independence. That was my thought too, that so many of the grievances at that time are ours again today.
