I'm a volunteer treasurer for a small charity so mostly work on this at home but I do a couple of hours volunteering a week outside the house as well. Its good to have something community orientated to think about

Everything bad that happens is always reported as being in London whereas its more like 32 separate cities subdivided by suburbs and the original old towns/villages plus the actual City of London . The portrayal of it all being some sort of hell hole is just wrong and unfair

I went to see Arcadia in 1993 and it was one of the most thought provoking plays I had ever seen. How interesting that it made such a scientific advance possible

I used to read my Dad's old Mickey comics from the 1930s at my Granny's house in the 1960s .I used to be fascinated by them .These cartoons are bringing back memories . Sadly no idea where they went but I spent hours looking at them as a child

My Great Grandfather came from Keysoe but I've never visited . although I've intended to for a long while. I think our people were non conformists as were many people from the area so probably not part of the congregation in this era . The plaque is wonderful

If you've already got PIP before retirement age and have the qualifying points on mobility does the allowance continue ? I know you can't apply after retirement age

I miss some of the people I met on there but I've felt much better since I took it off my phone . Many people I talk to in real life drop the X type stuff into conversation quite casually as if it's the norm now . These are people I thought were quite reasonable but they believe some crazy things

Trusts have their own tax regimes . There is still capital gains tax to pay for example when assets that have been in trust are sold and tax on income generated .

I've lived about 500m from the edge of London for many years and can walk to the tube in 10 mins or into the countryside . Its the best of both worlds
