It's a great book, and I'm always drawn to things that can draw a direct line from an event or fashion to a disease. Also, we need to kill it bigtime. I evangelize quite a lot for this and PIH maternal health & Coral Reef Alliance. All worthy and generally affordable. Thanks, Greens!

I learned to read from Electric Company at about age 3 1/2 - 4. Too many talk bubbles that mom couldn't get to in time, so in frustration I learned to read them. Worked like a charm!

This is a good plan! Though I tend to give mself longer depending on length of the book. 400 pages gets 50 pages. 700 -800 gets 100 -150 unless it's trash. 1200 pages gets 300 hundred. Because sometimes they surprise me! I even give shorter books more if they're hard to break into eg Scarlet Letter.

Ursula is the goat! It's how I learned about the tesseract. It was hard because I was 11 and there was semi complex algebra and math, but I loved it. I'll check these out too! Thanks for the recommendations.
