Does it increase the risk of miscarriages of justice, and if it does, how does that reduce victims suffering? Unless, of course, we just want to punish anyone, doesn't matter who.

We don't really know why, though do we? Only Sky news version of it. I do wonder if this sabotage. Plus, it was stated in the rules that you couldn't belong to 2 parties.

You're easily pleased. I want to see much, much more just to get back to where we were in 2010. That's without making sure that the past can't be repeated. As long as you're happy I suppose, but will you be in 2029?

They've got less than 4 years. Even if they get elected again, they'll never get such a huge majority again. Given that, when do you think they are going to start transforming the country? Can't do everything at once just doesn't cut it when they've done nothing.

I hate it the tub of lard, who's never done a days work in his life, used to do it. Were people really taken in by it?

Probably not since Tommy Robinson isn't called Tommy Robinson. 😀

And people like him would crucify the raving leftie communist all over again.

Yes, I didn't think he could sink any lower, but here we are.

Does it? Does it reverse the damage done by 15 years of austerity? Have they stopped the deliberate cruelty towards disabled people? Have all the food banks gone from the supermarkets? Is everyone in adequate, secure, affordable housing? Can everyone afford to heat and eat? No.

We were never allowed to deal with a patient wearing leaves. Infection risk.

Usually a hospital.
November 28, 2025 at 6:30 PM
And what are the other 5 months for?
November 27, 2025 at 8:22 PM
No, they're not for ordinary business. The corporate party maybe.
November 27, 2025 at 8:21 PM
It's always been 3 months probation where I worked. I seem to remember that Thatcher changed it to 6 months, so it's fitting that the reserve Tory Party chose that.

He thinks that chopping up journalists is OK, as long as its the Saudis doing it.
November 27, 2025 at 6:12 PM
It amazes me. I thought they were cool about shootings. If he'd gone into a school and done it, they wouldn't have batted an eyelid.
November 27, 2025 at 6:10 PM
It's the deliberate cruelty that really annoys me. Labour could have changed that. Instead they doubled down on it.

He's severely visually impaired, has a heart condition, and anxiety and depression. He hadn't been feeling so anxious recently, but they set him back so much that he couldn't visit his 90 year old mother because he knew that she'd be worried if she saw the state he was in, and she is ill herself.
November 27, 2025 at 6:06 PM
They'd put him down as missing his appointment, and when he spoke to the UC helpline, they said they'd sent a message, but he still didn't hear from them. They left him worrying all weekend, he had to contact them 3 times before they finally got back to him.

I know someone who is now going on to US from ESA. He was supposed to have a telephone call, to tell him what they'd already discussed but they couldn't get through to him, because his network went down. As soon as we realised, we tried to contact them, but you can't contact the job Centre direct.

Yes, the Guardian that paid its own part in the shit show that we're living now.
November 27, 2025 at 5:55 PM
I don't trust them one little bit. At this point I swear they're even worse than Tories. God, I can't believe I've written that.
November 27, 2025 at 5:54 PM
Yes, I remember in 2019, thinking that the country made the wrong choice, as Johnson set off on his all expenses paid Christmas jolly, with his then mistress, while Jeremy went out to help the homeless. But, hey. Who wants someone who cares running the country?
November 27, 2025 at 5:53 PM
If we start from a position of all politicians lie, we won't go far wrong will we? Starmer is one of the worst.
November 27, 2025 at 5:49 PM
I'm not upset. I couldn't give a stuff what you think. I'm just curious as to why you feel the need to abusive towards someone who hasn't upset you. It's just bizarre, that's all.
