I saved my ticket from my 2005 visit to the USS Arizona Memorial. Did you know that 3 firefighters from the Honolulu Fire Department were killed during the attack on Pearl Harbor? 6 HFD firefighters were wounded, and all 9 received Purple Hearts. 💜

This is Papa, the miniature donkey. My family got to feed him some lettuce at the Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines during a summer trip to Iowa. He was a real sweetie!

I assembled this Lego project while the food was in the oven. Ken Burns' BASEBALL was playing in the background. It's been a relaxing holiday so far.

I'm a fan of the true crime genre, and I've been wanting to read this book for a while, but the only copy I had was a mass-produced paperback, and unfortunately those are hard on my old eyes. Now I have it as a hardcover thanks to a recently discovered used book shop. 💙📚💡

When I return from my daily walk, I always think I look cute, and I think it's because Darcy didn't hesitate to describe Elizabeth's "fine eyes" as "brightened by the exercise" after she hiked from her house to Bingley's. But then I look in the mirror. 📚💙
