Yesterday I attended the federal court with Brad, the son of a conscripted Vietnam veteran (deceased). Brad is suffering from the generational effects of Agent Orange. His father was sprayed and betrayed. Even after death, ADF DVA and the likes of RSL continue to punish. Don't enlist. 💙💔

Future exserving persons (veterans) will be worse off than veterans are now. If our heroes are dying at 3 per f/n, it makes sense that it will get worse. Matt Keoghis misleading all of us with his lazy bill. His rhetoric is more than spin, it's lies. Don't enlist, don't. 💙💔

I'm not proud of my tears in Parliament House today. All the fights, all the work, and the detrimental(to veterans) harmonisation bill will probably go through the Senate tomorrow. If David (my son) was alive, he would still die. I'm beyond devastated. DON'T ENLIST. You will die, just like Dave. 💙💔
