William and I are hanging out today. He's usually asleep while his person is at work but he wants my knee and what the Elderly Gentleman wants, he gets. Just one of the perks of being 17 years, two months and two weeks old. Also, I'm stripping the bathroom walls and the stripper needs another hour

We were going to have Xmas Eve brunch but the little nephew needed a emergency Dr visit these morn so it became Xmas Eve lunch. And I worked out how to hang the stockings w out damaging anything 👍 A good day

I pulled out some plants because I discovered they were invasive. There was (as it turns out) a hedgey nest in the middle. We checked and he got up after dark and went back to bed by morning, as expected. But today the blackbirds evicted him and destroyed the nest. Boo.

This is William. He's a lilac point Persian cross and he's 17 next month. He's appropriated my chair for his 8 hour daynap, so I'm having to make do with the couch.

Two of our past cats. The ginger is Luke who was born in Chch in 2002. He was nocturnal and brought in about 15 mice at night when we lived in Wgtn. Bless. He disappeared age 10. Theodore Sir Touch Me Not (Teddy) was W's half bro but was never v tame and died of FIP age 8 @chloeandcats.bsky.social

Perimenopause is kicking my ass. So. Much. Inflammation. Have an appointment with the Menopause Clinic in Whanganui, but just got this to try. Am documenting everything in my pain diary because my brain has a way of minimising things if I'm OK *today*
