Still rewatching crit roles new episode, I think my favourite part is how little their classes matter right now. They're building personalities & relationships before they start busting out the numbers and dice rolls. They're so much more interesting than just their mechanics.

Ran a difficult encounter last night and those dice really said 'let me tell you a story'. Combo of tough enemies and bad rolls led to the paladin dropping to death saves, and suddenly everyone else locked in for narrative greatness.
