Media: it is incredible comprehensive, sometimes a broadcaster puts a documentary together but usually its almost outdated by then.

Does that mean T needs to be visited to get something from him OR he needs to be "flattered"? In GER it can mean both.

From my German POV, this is fantastic news for Americans. When authoritarian regimes arise, they never consist of a homogeneous group pursuing the same goals. Disputes arise. The leader must eliminate dissidents by any means possible. That's impossible for Trump. Let them argue. Enjoy the show.
