Feedbacks changed the speed of phenotypic evolution! In particular, fly boxing exploded under positive feedbacks! 🥊. Negative feedbacks slowed the evolution of total aggression

In 12 parallel populations, we selected Drosophila males for increased aggression across 24 generations. Populations experienced either positive, negative, or no evolutionary feedbacks — achieved by manipulating the social environment in which we performed selection (2/)
