I spent the afternoon writing the first draft of a new picture book manuscript. It was so satisfying. I can't think of a better way to spend a few hours.

I pitched a picture book to a publisher thru CBI Above the Slushpile in September. Yesterday evening I received an email from the publisher asking me to submit my manuscript. I was so excited I could hardly sleep last night. Wish me luck.
