I could imagine GDPR and AI Act enforcement action playing a role in Europe's response to the sweeping U.S. tariffs. With the CJEU decision on the Data Privacy Framework looming, interesting times lie ahead of Big Data. We'll see whether protectionism and "the internet" are such a great match.

For the first time in (modern) German history, conservatives and fascists could form a government together. They won't, for now. Some conservatives, however, might consider using this hypothetical majority as leverage in upcoming negotiations. Some slopes are particularly slippery tonight.

Robert Habeck zufolge wurden die Grünen dafür bestraft, nicht so konsequent wie die Linke gewesen zu sein. Man habe anders als die Linke eine Koalition mit Merz nicht ausschließen können. Ist das nicht ein Problem, wenn man staatspolitische Verantwortung über konsequenten Antifaschismus stellt?

Von Kanada aus ebenfalls keine Chance auf die #BTW2025. Immerhin hat mich niemand gefragt, ob ich zufällig nach Deutschland fliege und Wahlzettel mitnehmen will.

Ein Vereinslied ist ein kleinster gemeinsamer Nenner. Wenn das Vereinslied des @fcstpauli.com von jemandem mit NS-Vergangenheit stammt, ist das ein Problem. Eine Mehrheit wird das nicht lösen können. Demokratie ist wichtig. Aber den kleinsten gemeinsamen Nenner findet man nicht per Abstimmung.
