Regardless of how big the charity is, individuals only have so much capacity. The CEO is still working with the same 24-hour day as the logistics manager, ideally a 35-40 hour work week. How much more is the CEO/ED making relative to the median employee? Are they paying all employees living wages?

I think we need to structure pay scales for nonprofits as models for all. Pick a number - should EDs make 3 times the median worker pay at the org? 5 times? Are they ensuring the lowest paid employee is earning a living wage? That everyone given full benefits? Administration can't be volunteer work.

My theory - not rooted in any evidence - is that Abrigo's OG asylum was rooted in having dirt on El Salvador's political innerworkings. As part of the deal to house US prisoners, they specifically requested his return. Trump, not knowing or caring, obliged and set off the shtstorm.
