I might do a more in-depth review of it at some point on a blog or something, but for now I'll just say that while it wasn't exactly peak Who, it was an interesting look into the transitional period between the classic and revival shows.

If there's a particular flaw with the movie, it's how certain elements, such as why the Daleks are trusted to be arbiters of justice, rely largely on context from outside sources. Basically similar to one of the main flaws of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

I don't wish violence on anyone, but the people who come up with concepts like this probably deserve a kick in the crotch anyways. They're part of the problem.

Sidenote but on Elon's porn site where I originally posted this thread I continue to be baffled by how blatantly two-faced people are there. The prevailing mentality is literally just "it's okay when we do it". Yeah okay, thanks for admitting that morality is just marketing I guess.

Again, I'm not in New York, and I don't often talk about stuff like this because I prefer to focus on other stuff, but I think it's a weird situation. Whether Mamdani, Cuomo, or Sliwa (or someone else? not likely but who knows) prevails, I think there's a lot to think about.
