This afternoon, I spoke with residents in Brown County about the importance of courage in politics and my goal to make sure the voices of the people are louder than the voices of the elected officials.

Today, together, we used our voices. I joined courageous residents, students and faculty in Madison at DSU as we protested the University giving Kristi Noem an honorary Doctorate against the will of the majority current and former faculty, administration and students.

Let’s get up to Madison together to support the Faculty and Student Body of DSU! Those voices have spoken and were loud and it’s time for the school to listen to the people instead of bowing to Noem! See yall there!

I was honored to speak to 130 Vets and Union members in support of workers rights of Federal Employees. This was personal. My mother is a retired VA nurse! To see how budget cuts and worker removals have impacted the Vets they serve, isn’t reform, it’s abandonment!
