I have been saying this for 6 months. We are not Hungary or Germany 1935. We are a huge diverse country impossible to control with a history of rebellion and yeah 2nd amend rights.

My parents lived near here for 40 years. Mom is still in her own apt. The only crime they ever encountered was when my Dad couldn’t get out of the Kennedy Center Parking lot after hours and he drove through the arm barrier breaking it and taking off w/o being caught. DC Is full of elderly crime🙃.

Understanding science involves critical thinking, the ability to read and write and make inferences all of which are in the humanities domain. Telling a story about how science works, even say how the dinosaurs lived is a humanities based skill.

Yes but it is deeply personal to Barack. He knows it’s an attack on his legacy and it’s the one issue he continues to work for. They want to repeal it as part of their racist birther agenda. We can’t let them!

Sir, I just received my letter from covered California, California’s version of ACA, telling me that they will continue to cover me, but it will likely go to 3 to 4 times what I’ve been paying per month🥹 so this is in effect a repeal of the affordable part because no one can pay these rates! 😡

The writer of this piece, is from a family that survived the holocaust. He knows more than a little bit about genocide and mass starvation. His brother wrote an incredible memoir about the Nazi’s in Vienna and their pillaging of the family art. The brother is a famous ceramicist. Edmund de Waal.

DeYoung Museum. You can take the elevator all the way to top and have a stunning view. Art is great too of course. Xcross the way is the academy of sciences with a living rainforest and a great aquarium in the basement too. Penguins !!
