"The patient just didn't know how to be a good patient, like they used to; I don't think the patient properly understood just how great what we did was going to be for them."

Ignorance wrapped in arrogance atop a bed of grandiose delusions, gently drizzled with a nappe of narcissism.

😂😂 Ever get that feeling there's a little man on your shoulder whispering nasty things into your ear?

"It's a belief in freedom of opportunity...in equality & a fair go...with rights come commensurate responsibilities...with effort comes reward..."

"We believe in the individual, in the family, in the community, in the enterprise, & in the entrepreneur."

Corny abstractions to save the day for Libs.

Ted O'Brien: "We will engage with the Australian people, ah we'll be driven by data and evidence as well as big ears, listening to people, and then we'll be regrouping as a party..."
May 14, 2025 at 1:14 AM
Ted O'Brien: "On nuclear, there's no doubt the Labor Party effectively weaponised that debate..."

Nothing wrong with our policy, only things wrong with Labor.

That's how good they are at "listening."

With Jacinta Price now shifting to the Libs, it's a pity they can't elect a senate member as leader.

Michaelia Cash and Jacinta Price could go part way to addressing the women issue in the Libs, with a Cash-Price leadership team (quite fitting too, seeing as the Libs brought in the GST... 😆)

Breaking: Sussan Ley states that if she becomes leader of the Liberal Party, she will add an extra "e" in the middle of the word Liberal, i.e., "Libeeral" - as numerology tells her it should be a vote winner for Australians who like beer.

Tim Wilson scrapes back in, god knows why.

Leadership materiel?

Or immaterial?

Linda Reynolds on ABC RN saying the Liberals don't want to introduce quotas re women in parliament as that's an inherently socialist thing to do.

O M F G

And I guess proposing to have publicly built and run nuclear power stations was not "inherently socialist"?

It seems they really are that dumb.

Good to see Angus Taylor give a shout out to Barnaby Joyce this afternoon on #AfternoonBriefing
May 1, 2025 at 6:53 AM
Patricia Karvelas asks Angus Taylor whether LNP is slapping a new vaping tax on Australians.

Taylor: "Well there's already a big vaping tax being imposed on Australians by criminal organisations, criminal gangs..."

So a further tax by the LNP criminal organisation is cool I guess.
May 1, 2025 at 6:43 AM
Patricia Karvelas says there's no evidence of halving of deficits.
Angus Taylor: "Well well, if you look at the numbers, I've got them right here if you like, I'll take you through them, so ah they go down ah over the course of the 4 years ah by half of where they were" (puts papers away again...)🙄🤣

Peter Dutton:

"Have a look at what's happened to the economy in Victoria; Labor has near destroyed that economy, and it's a tragedy because it's such a great state and we will re, rebuild Victoria..."

I think this guy might be a dumb as Mark McGowan suggested he might be.
May 1, 2025 at 6:22 AM
Peter Dutton seems to be conceding he's lost the election campaign, saying "This election really is a referendum not about the election campaign, but about the last three years of government."
May 1, 2025 at 5:52 AM
Angus Taylor on Jim Chalmers:
"I mean this bloke, you know honestly, he doesn't understand economics, he never did, he's never worked in, in the private sector in any material way, he hasn't got a clue."

🤣🤣🤣🤣 Nice one Angus. Are you sure it's Dr Chalmers you're talking about?
May 1, 2025 at 5:24 AM
Peter Dutton is asked why he won't disendorse a candidate who blamed someone's mother for their daughter experiencing domestic violence.

Says "He's apologised for it & that's where it's at."

Is then asked "Would you call the Prime Minister weak if he did the same thing?". Ignores the question.🤔
