Absolutely, plenty of useful places to put solar panels. Aside from the grazing fields and roofs, they are brilliant in big store car parks - provide electricity for the store, shield cars from the elements.

This is interesting - “near the edge of a nearby glacier show it thickened again after previous thinning several thousand years ago”. Might that have been the Holocene Climatic Optimum ending about 6Ka? The process points to the speed of melting and slow pace of recovery
