She never returned home alive. Roshchyna was held in a prison in the seemingly ordinary city of Taganrog, located in southern Russia, where 80% of the population are ethnic Russians. The same prison continues to hold hundreds of other Ukrainian prisoners, who are reportedly also being tortured.
