Imagine how strong and grounded those of us who saw this coming can be; because we have no other choice. We must focus on our little corner of the world, what is right in front of us. Even if it sometimes means tuning out and focusing on breathing. Aim to educate the blind rather than blame.

For me, musical expression and creativity were closely entwined in a trauma response from a young age. Even now, when I sing and create, my jaw tightens and neck muscles tense. I have to constantly remind myself: I am safe. Free to express. No one can harm me here or take that right away. 🎧
