"Family issues." Her voice trailed off.

"Yes, I don't think many women would be willing to live in a fort!" She playfully laughed and removed her thumb, "Finally!" She smiled.

A soft chuckle, "No, he arranged it. His family owns a large vineyard that supplies much wine to the wealthy families in Rome. Not, /that/ far north." Looking at their fingers as she spoke. Lifting it to check and placing her thumb back down.

She would nod, "It's almost done..." A pause, "I have a cousin with the same hair color. She married and moved to the north before I left Rome."
