I love how the @economist.com is speaking about "an ugly bygone era when US habitually destabilized Latin American countries" like they are not blockading Venezuela and Cuba, and did not sponsor coups recently in Brazil, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Paraguay and Peru.

Everyone I know has been receiving these creepy genocide denial ads sponsored by the Israeli state. It's high time YouTube and the rest of @newsfromgoogle.bsky.social stop profiting from a genocide. Google will be tried for war crimes. It makes me even more committed to #deGoogle

Honestly I have to praise my own genius of getting funding to spend summer abroad, and deciding on Sweden. The book history department in Lund was the main reason, but spending summer at 20 degress was not not a reason.

I just arrived in Lund to spend five months as a visiting PhD, and already charmed by this place! Lovely city, great people, and an university expanding collaboration with Palestine, could not ask for anything else!
