so, the campaign knew that this could lose the election due to swing state votes and they decided to not even attempt
to resolve this.

maybe you’re right and it was totally unfair expectation. i see it as the campaign having the means to sway and choosing not to.

well - the democratic party’s official position was always ceasefire. VP harris didn’t capitulate to a demand.

from the beginning, an arms embargo was always part of the uncommitted focus. that wasn’t new. and as president she would absolutely have that influence.

we need to listen to each other and coalesce stronger, not vilify.

okay, and i think the same goes for
the people who wanted
to be elected. we need a party-wide audit of our message - it wasn’t just arab-americans who sat this out.
and i think that’s what needs
to be focused on, not targeting segments of the population online by a person with a huge following.

i understand your anger. i am angry too. we have different targets of our ire. i’m not giving cover, im just a random person who sees it like this: these single-issue voters were in key swing states and the campaign could have tailored better messaging to them. we are on the same team.

that’s not really my point. the fact is that the campaign should have been aware they were not being strong enough on this for single issue voters in for key demographics in swing states with demos they should have had in the bag.

i take your point, but we vote to give officials power. I personally was of the mind that we could push the VP once she was in office on brokering peace, and i did what i could to convince to my uncommitted friends. i understand their reticence. 90 million people didn’t vote

i don’t debate with anyone, and i’m not lying. we’re on the same side. let’s hope we get leaders who have something to say on this as we fight the current landscape and not give in to infighting amongst voters.

i voted for her. we needed our leaders to lead on this, not shy away. i’m directing my anger not at people who couldn’t get a straight answer from the person asking for their vote, but to the people who couldn’t give a straight answer. i wish she was president too - but i understand these voters.

there are plenty of reports that show the VP’s campaign was actively dodging this issue. democrats knew the polls and hung back. i can link them if you want.

shame on you for using your influence to shame voters and not the people in power who said first said nothing, the nothing of value, and then some disturbing things who ask for these people for their faith and support and vote. KH had every opportunity. she skipped each one.
