It isn't that they haven't learned from history. They have and they're using it as a guide.

Is he still at it? Sheesh.

It might be the way the mouth forms the letter? It's like with Ss. My cat can say "Yes" but the S is more implied because she can't get her mouth in the right position to make the sound . So it sounds like ye in yes, not like "yeah" if that makes sense.

And yes, hearing "Oh no!" and "hello?!" at stupid o'clock in the morning is a terrible way to be woken up. 😅

My parents had a cat that could say my dad's name and came very close to saying mine (Js were beyond his ability).
My current cat has learned hello, hi, oh no, woo hoo, and yes. We're working on getting her to say bye. She also tries to say bird, but hasn't quite gotten it yet.

Oh dude. Supporting a pedophilic conman, while using the photo of a conman who is guilty of stolen valor, while using the name of a fictitious corrupt cop?
That's either a serious identity crisis or you have something serious to hide.
Considering who you support I'll hazard a guess.

Him? No, that would involve getting anything to stick.

No, Trump believes 14 year olds should be tried as adults.

Maybe you could get the one day color stuff and try it with her so she sees it's fun?
I know my friend's son wasn't thrilled about the idea of her coloring her hair so she involved him in the process as much as she could.
Of course the down side was then he wanted to color his hair too. 🙃

The fragility required to purchase one of those is massive.
"I'm an alpha male. I protect and provide for my family!"
Dude you're too sensitive to put on the carrier with the cute zoo animals on it, please shut all the way up.

Ignorance is no excuse. They have access to the same information as anyone else, but choose instead to believe what they are told.
It's easier to feed someone a lie when they want it to be true.

Did you know that more atheists are against the death penalty and are less likely to commit violent crimes and murders than theists?
So no, atheism is not an excuse to kill people, it actually makes one less likely to do so.
August 12, 2025 at 12:53 AM
agnostic atheism, which is atheism that acknowledges the possibility that a deity/deities exist, and apatheism, which is indifference to the existence/non-existence of a deity/or deities.
Those three bear no burden of proof.
August 12, 2025 at 12:40 AM
What you're talking about is gnostic or explicit atheism, which is a positive assertion that there are no deities or the conscious rejection in the belief of deities, respectively.
There's also implicit atheism, which is the lack of belief without explicit rejection of the idea of a god,
August 12, 2025 at 12:37 AM
Atheism claims nothing. It's an absence of belief in a god/gods. There is no burden of proof for the lack of belief.
While some atheists may go further by outright claiming there is no god/gods, they are only one type of atheist.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed this bit of historical plagiarism.
Not a single original idea in the pathetic orange head of his, not one.
August 11, 2025 at 10:45 PM
This man has absolutely no original ideas. This is nearly a direct copy of the Reichstag fire, minus the actual crisis.
I'm not sure what's worse: the fact that he repeatedly badly copies what Hitler did or the fact that so many people will still defend and support him.

If you're going to call that gerrymandering I guess you're going to need to put the blame where it belongs, the Republican party. Whoops!
August 11, 2025 at 5:23 AM
That was the 4th Congressional district of Illinois until 2023. The shape was originally proposed by the Republican party to create a district that met constitutional and legal criteria under the Federal voting rights act. It combined two Hispanic majority portions of the city into one district.

As an only child I agree completely. And when you can't do something, like be mom's therapist, because your own life is a mess suddenly you're no help and are making things about yourself. 😐

It really is a shame because Austin is great and I would love to visit again and see more of the city. Unfortunately it's in Texas and I'm not setting foot in that state until conditions improve.

Thank goodness they posted what he was saying because every time his mouth moves all I can hear him say is "Someone please punch me in the face."
It's really weird.

The coffee my husband likes went from $16-$22 for 36 oz in about two weeks. Last year it was around $12-$13.

I tried explaining it to people as simply as I could and they either still didn't understand or refused to believe it. The only way some people are going to understand is through experiencing it, and they still might not get it.
