Our public high school does this -- no sports or extracurriculars one day a week and let me tell you, it's great and every kid I know, regardless of level of involvement/enjoyment, looks forward to that day. I don't understand why we set up kids to burn out.

I honestly believed I could no longer be shocked by anything this administration does, but once again, I've been proven wrong. The response has been abhorrent.

Plus, the more nonpartisan coalitions the Democrats can build, the better. Coalitions are effective acts of resistance, too.
